Approached Hasan Polatkan Airport Eskişehir via Brussels. This should also be made possible for Dutch aircraft. Improvements have taken place since the last time 3 years ago. - Staff have become more professional and friendlier, but there is still room for improvement. - Baggage handling is still a bit rusty and slow. This is partly due to travelers not quickly removing their luggage from the belt once it gets full. - Toilets: There are too few toilets relative to the number of travelers. Hygiene suffers as a result.

Lack of clear baggage rules. They invent things that can't go in the cabin that aren't even listed. I have to think for them about things that aren't posted 🤔🤔🤔 uhhh no 😅. I'm not the one who works at this airport. I've been flying from several airports for years, and since when can't decorative soap boxes be taken on board? A waste of money, stress, undelivered gifts, and their "destruction" for nothing. The rules and staff qualifications need to be reviewed. (I went through the X-ray machine twice before the comment; I could have put them in my checked luggage.) Travelers' suitcases are left on the tarmac in 30-degree heat, surrounded by asphalt, so it feels like 40 degrees for two hours, with products that surely can't withstand such prolonged exposure (creams, gels, medications, food, etc.). Some positive points: proximity to the airport, not too crowded, and convenient schedules. When something is good, it's worth mentioning, but seriously, even being somewhat objective, the route needs to be more clearly defined and structured.

We've run out of patience with Eskişehir Airport. We've been coming here for 20 years, and there's been no improvement, especially the area where you go through police control after disembarking from the plane; it hasn't changed at all. The waiting area is very small, there's no ventilation or air conditioning; people are crammed together waiting. We're already an impatient society, and these conditions make things even more difficult. It becomes truly unbearable, especially in the summer. The processes are also extremely slow; minutes are spent on each passenger. This is unacceptable in this day and age. They should be using machines now.
